More and more I am seeing opportunities to create landscape panoramas I experiment by capturing single images in situ and stitching them together using the photo merge tool in Lightroom. A technique that I am fascinated and rewarded by, albeit relatively new to.
When I'm surrounded by so much natural beauty, I ask myself where is the beginning, where is the ending, what to include, and (just as importantly) what to exclude. Some of my panoramas displayed in this gallery are as little as 2-5 images stitched together, while others are made up of more than 10 images. I even have one that is made up of 24 images for the ultimate scene I envisaged. Sometimes it depends on how much overlap I have allowed in each single capture.
I aim to refine my skills through self-learning and experimenting, along with learning from the skill and creativity of others who specialise in this genre of photography. It's a continuous journey that allows me to consistently enhance my craft and deliver stunning panoramic photographs, achieving the best possible results I can.
